Confirmation is the sacrament that completes the grace of Baptism by a special outpouring of the Holy Spirit. It strengthens the Christian to live out their faith boldly and to be a witness to Christ in the world.

Preparation for Confirmation is available for teenagers, usually starting in the 9th grade, through our Youth Ministry program. Adults who seek to be Confirmed can participate in the OCIA program.
Youth Confirmation
The Diocese of Venice requires a minimum of 2 continuous years of religious instruction before receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation. Sacramental preparation for Confirmation can begin as early as the summer of a teen's 9th grade year. Preparation includes Confirmation classes and weekly High School Youth Group meetings. Confirmation Registration for the Fall Classes will be open in August.
